What is Amplistay?

What are the different ways to use Amplistay?

Start with what you need and add the rest whenever you like. For example: extensions only, to sell extra nights, early check-in or late check-out to guests who booked on Airbnb or Booking; just your booking page, a link to charge repeat guests or anyone who messages you on WhatsApp or Instagram directly; your full website, with online booking and payment or as a showcase with a contact form; or as management software, with all your bookings in one place and an online guide, contract and check-in for every guest, even if you sell nothing direct.

How do I get started?

Sign up with Google or your email and give your place a name. You'll land straight on its property page, where "Your path in Amplistay" shows the six goals you can reach and the steps for each. There's nothing to decide up front: every step you complete counts towards every goal that needs it.

What's free and what do I pay for?

Accepted Answer

Setting everything up and trying it is free, with no time limit: your website, your booking page, extensions, calendars, the guide, the contract and guest registration, all of it in preview. When you want your guests to use it, you turn on the subscription and it all goes live at once. Nothing else costs extra: no commission, no add-ons.

How much does it cost exactly?

Accepted Answer

$19/month per website, tax included (if your website has several units, like cabins or apartments in the same place, they are included), no commission and no commitment. Whoever processes each payment charges their own fee on top (Stripe, depending on your country and the guest's payment method; or your bank, if you use its card terminal), plus any applicable VAT. If you cancel, what your guests see is taken offline, but nothing is deleted.

What does my guest see on my booking page, and what can they do?

Your place's name and photos, a calendar with your availability, and the price. From there they can make a new booking and pay by card, or find theirs and extend it: arrive earlier, leave later or add nights, as many times as they like. You decide whether you accept new bookings, extensions or both, and what each one costs.

What is "Your stay"?

Accepted Answer

Each booking's page for your guest: their dates, your place's guide (directions, wifi, house rules…), the contract to sign online, and the registration of everyone staying. They get it in their confirmation email, and Airbnb or Booking guests get it in your automated message: they sign in with their booking code. In Spain, you can send the guest report to SES Hospedajes with one button from the booking; it's optional and never sent on its own.

Does it work with Airbnb, Booking or my channel manager?

Yes. You connect each platform's calendar via iCal (a link each one gives you in its settings; if you use a channel manager such as Lodgify, AvaiBook or Smoobu, theirs is enough). Amplistay then knows your availability and blocks those dates, and you export Amplistay's calendar back so the others block whatever is booked here. Those bookings come into your dashboard with guest, dates and price, and every guest gets their "Your stay" page.

What happens when someone books or extends their stay?

We notify you right away by email, and by WhatsApp if you've turned it on. The dates are blocked in Amplistay instantly; other platforms block them when they next read your calendar, usually within a few hours, or you can block them by hand. The money goes straight to your account: with Stripe it usually reaches your bank in 2 to 5 business days; with your bank's card terminal, whenever your bank pays it out.

How do I get paid?

Through Stripe: from your property's Payments page you sign up and verify your identity in a few minutes, and the connection works for your whole account. Or through your bank's card terminal (Redsys). Whichever you choose covers everything you charge for: new bookings and extensions alike. The money goes straight to you; Amplistay keeps none of it.

Question 11

Which countries and languages does it work in?

Accepted Answer

Any country: Amplistay uses your place's address to set its time zone. Your website can be in whichever language or languages you like. The dashboard, the emails and the "Your stay" page are in English and Spanish. The SES Hospedajes submission only applies to places in Spain.

Can I have several properties?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as many as you like. Each property has its own subscription ($19/month), with its own goals, calendar, website and settings, and you can set them up and try them for free before switching them on. If you have several units in one place (cabins on one estate, say), add them as sub-properties: they share a single website and are included in the main property's subscription.
