What is Amplistay?

Amplistay gives every property its own page to sell direct, with none of Airbnb's or Booking's commission. Publish for free once your own payment link is handling bookings or extensions (3% commission, only when you get paid), or subscribe to the Fixed Rate plan ($19/month) for 0% commission, your own domain, and free choice of booking channel.

Do I need the Fixed Rate plan, or is the free page enough?

Just need somewhere to charge guests you already have, on our subdomain? The free page is enough - share your payment link on WhatsApp, Instagram, or wherever you talk to guests. Want your own domain, or to publish even without using our payment link (say, you use AvaiBook instead)? That's what the Fixed Rate plan is for.

What does my guest see when they open my Payment Link, and what can they do?

They see your property's name and photo, a calendar, and the price. From there they can make a new direct booking, or find an existing one by date and extend it - early check-in, late check-out, or extra nights - based on your calendar's availability and the prices you've set. You can turn the link on or off anytime from your dashboard, and set buffer hours between stays for cleaning too.

What does it cost, exactly?

The free plan costs nothing to set up: 3% only on what you actually get paid through your link, nothing if you get no bookings. Subscribe to the Fixed Rate plan ($19/month) and that fee drops to 0% automatically, you get your own domain, and you can choose any booking channel - you pay the flat monthly price instead. Either way, Stripe's own processing fees apply separately (they vary by your location and the guest's payment method), plus VAT where required by law.

What happens when someone books or extends a stay?

You get an instant notification by email, and by WhatsApp too if you've enabled it. If you've exported your calendar to your other platforms, the slot blocks itself once they sync (max 3 hours) - or you can block it manually as soon as you get the notification. The payment lands in your Stripe account right away, and Stripe pays it out to your bank, usually within 2-5 business days.

What information will I get about each booking?

For every booking or extension you'll see the guest's name, email, and phone number (whatever they used to pay), their original and new check-in/check-out dates and times, the total paid, the platform fee, your payout amount, and a transaction ID for tracking and support.

Question 7

Can a guest extend their stay more than once?

Accepted Answer

Yes - they can, for example, delay checkout by one night, then come back the next day and add another 4 hours. There's no limit.

How do I create my property link and share it?

Accepted Answer

Log in (with Google or by signing up), then click "Add property" to set your basic details and prices. Next, import your existing platforms' iCal (Booking, VRBO, Lodgify, or any other) so Amplistay knows your availability, and export Amplistay's own iCal back to them to keep everyone in sync with your new direct bookings and extensions.

What's an iCal, and where do I find mine?

iCal is a standard format - any platform worth using will give you an iCal URL for your property, usually somewhere in its settings. If you already use a channel manager like Lodgify, AvaiBook, or Smoobu, you only need to import one iCal. If you list on, say, VRBO and Booking.com directly with no channel manager, import both.

How do I connect Stripe to get paid?

Accepted Answer

In your account settings, go to "Set up Stripe payments". It's a short onboarding and ID check handled entirely by Stripe - usually about 2 minutes. Once verified, you're ready to get paid however you told Stripe to pay you, usually straight to your bank account.

Question 11

What countries, languages, and currencies are supported?

Accepted Answer

Any country. Amplistay uses your property's own address to set the right timezone, so there's nowhere it doesn't work. The dashboard is available in English and Spanish, and you can charge guests in USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, or CHF.

Is there a limit on how many properties I can add?

Accepted Answer

No limit - add as many properties as you want, each with its own Payment Link, calendar, and settings.
